Leading Australian and New Zealand cloud IT specialist PrimeQ has embarked on aggressive growth in the cloud marketplace with the acquisition of CRMNow.
The acquisition creates one of the Asia Pacific’s leading partners in Oracle Cloud with PrimeQ now looking to consolidate other partners into the business.
It forms part of PrimeQ’s plans to become a ‘powerhouse’ for Oracle Cloud across Australia and New Zealand and follows the company’s successful integration of Perth-based Mantis Solutions.
The acquisition of CRMNow brings together PrimeQ’s expertise in enterprise resource planning (ERP), transportation management and warehouse management with CRMNow’s experience in customer relationship management (CRM).
PrimeQ was recently named ERP Partner of the Year for the Asia Pacific while CRMNow was named Customer Experience (CX) Partner of the Year for the Asia Pacific in the Oracle Excellence Awards 2017.
PrimeQ sells, implements and supports Oracle Cloud enterprise software and provides long-term annuity protection. It has offices in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland and Wellington.
CRMNow offers a range of Oracle Cloud CRM solutions with offices in Sydney and Melbourne.
PrimeQ Chief Executive Mr Andrew McAdams said the merger was a good cultural fit as PrimeQ embarks on the acquisitions trail and works towards an initial public offering (IPO).
“PrimeQ’s core value to ‘be grateful and remain humble’ continues to resonate with our customers and is a key tenet of our companies joining,” ‘Mr McAdams said.
“This is a major win for PrimeQ’s customers and investors, creating additional expertise to leverage the value of a full Oracle Cloud solution as we continue to grow our footprint in the marketplace.
“The Cloud market has changed the dynamic of customer expectations.
“Customers are moving to a faster and more agile model than the larger companies can offer, with PrimeQ’s business model fully focussed on delivering early return to benefit.
“We want PrimeQ to become a single solutions provider for Oracle Cloud and we are targeting opportunities to join forces with like-minded specialists.
“As we continue to invest in the best expertise we welcome CRMNow to the PrimeQ family.”
CRMNow Chief Executive Mr Rob McGregor said the company was pleased to join PrimeQ.
“PrimeQ is an innovative company that understands Cloud and is wholly focused on Oracle solutions,” Mr McGregor said.
“Our decision to become part of PrimeQ was easy for us because we had worked together on a number of accounts and the cultural fit makes sense for our customers.
“Joining forces with PrimeQ provides certainty for our team as well as a platform for future growth.
“For our customers, it creates a full offering across the Oracle Cloud platform with a team that shares our commitment to excellence.”
The merger means PrimeQ will have a total of 125 staff across its operations.
